How to Install a Minecraft Modpack (CurseForge, FTB, Technic and more)

Our custom game panel makes it easy to install Minecraft modpacks like those from CurseForge, FTB, and Technic. No manual uploads or complicated setup — just a few clicks and you’re ready to play! ✔️

⚠️ Important: Installing a Modpack Will Wipe Your Current Server

Installing a modpack will delete your existing server files to apply the new modpack setup. This includes your world, mods, plugins, and configurations.

Before proceeding, we highly recommend you back up your current server. You can follow our backup guide here:

⛏️ Step 1: Open the Mod Manager

Log in to your panel and go to the server you want to modify. From the left-hand menu or dashboard:

  • ➡️ Click on Tools.
  • ➡️ Click on Mod Manager.

This will show you a list of available modpacks from CurseForge, Feed The Beast (FTB), and Technic.

⛏️ Step 2: Choose a Modpack

Browse or search for the modpack you want to install. You can filter by platform or popularity.

  • ✔️ CurseForge – e.g., RLCraft, SkyFactory, All the Mods
  • ✔️ FTB – e.g., FTB Revelations, FTB Infinity Evolved
  • ✔️ Technic – e.g., Tekkit, Hexxit
  • ✔️ And much more!

Once you find your desired pack, click Install.

⏰ Step 3: Wait for Installation to Complete

The panel will automatically download and configure all the necessary files. You’ll see a progress bar or console output during this process.

  • ⏳ Installation time depends on modpack size.
  • ✔️ Once complete, the server will be ready to start.

⛏️ Step 4: Start Your Server

After the modpack is installed:

  • ➡️ Go to the Console or Overview tab in your panel.
  • ➡️ Click Start.
  • ✔️ The server will launch with the selected modpack.

You and your players should use the matching client version of the modpack from CurseForge, Technic, or FTB Launcher.

❗ Common Issues

  • Client Can't Connect – Ensure you're using the same modpack version as the server.
  • Server Stuck on Loading – Some modpacks take longer to start on first run.
  • Mod Mismatch Errors – Reinstall the modpack to ensure all files were properly applied.
